Our Review of Regfix

There are some good aspects and some bad aspects of Registry Fix and our review seeks to explain these aspects, although this choice is of course up to you.
There is also a back-up feature that creates restore points for the registry in case of error during the fixing process. This means that the registry can be restored to a point prior to the fix being undertaken. One of the functions that Registry Fix has over its rivals is that of the Start-up Manager. The manager will allow a user to pick the programs that are loaded during the start-up process. This is a great optimizing tool, which sees a much faster computer start-up. Registry Fix also copies a tool found on most Windows operating system, in that it has an Add/Remove Manager built into it. It is a nice addition although not a vital one for recent Windows operating systems.
Registry Fix is a registry cleaner that is very easy to install onto any computer, all that is required is a file to be downloaded. The file is relatively small at 1.5mb, and the installation is completed after the file is run. A desktop shortcut can then be added. Even computer users with no knowledge can easily install Registry Fix.
The support function within Registry Fix is basic although it is hard to think of anything else that might be needed. Using the help feature within the repair program will take you on to an internet page that lists the frequently asked questions, and provides appropriate answers. The same page also provides guidance on using the Registry Fix’s features and functions. At the same time registry Fix is evolving and as it is kept up to date it evolves, the release we tested was version 6.2.
The screenshots attached show how Registry Fix is presented and also includes commentary on some of the options.
The main menu for Registry Fix shows the options available. This screen also allows for a scan to be commenced straightaway, the Advanced Options also allows for customisation.
Within the Advanced Options there are additional options that include Start-up Manager, Add/Remove Manager and Browser Helper Object Manager.
The overall look and interface of Registry Fix is basic although this does make if fairly easy to navigate around and use. Registry Fix does everything you would want of a registry repair program. Another benefit of Registry Fix also includes a 56 day guarantee that sees money returned if not satisfied with the full version of the software. So in essence you have nothing to lose from giving it a go.
