The RegCure Review

RegCure is one of the most popular of registry repair programs, used to clean and repair a Windows registry. It has a reputation as being the best, although does RegCure really live up to these claims?

Look through some reviews and you will see suggestions that RegCure is purely a scam. We can safely say the RegCure is a legitimate registry repair program, and the following review will explain our findings. It is then up to you as to whether you want to give RegCure a go.

RegCure Features and Functions

As a registry repair program, RegCure has of course got the basic scan and fix function that is the bare minimum for an registry cleaner. There is though so many more features –

• Start-Up Manager – This feature allows a user to pick and choose which programs are loaded when a computer starts-up. Cutting down the number of programs running can greatly increase the running speed of any computer.
• Back-up and Restore - RegCure creates a back-up of the registry before any fixes are applied to the Windows registry. This means that in case of accidental delete it means that the operating system doesn’t have to be reinstalled. Therefore RegCure cannot do any damage in itself as a registry can just be reinstalled.
• Defrag and Compression – After the registry is fixed, RegCure reorganises the registry to make it much quicker for the Windows operating system to read through it. Thus the computer will run quicker and programs will also load faster.

Ease of Installation

RegCure is extremely easy to install onto any computer. Installation can be done in about ten seconds as a small file is downloaded and run. From this file RegCure will install itself and also place a shortcut onto the users desktop. This all means that even the most inexperienced computer user can make RegCure work.

Customer Support

Once RegCure is installed there is a full help manual that comes as standard, which can be accessed through the use of help within the registry repair program. This manual covers all aspects of the RegCure software. Most people will have no need to access the manual though, as RegCure is very easy to use.

The screenshots below show just how professional and clean the RegCure interface is. Additional commentary is also included to explain some of RegCure’s main features.

From the Scan feature it is possible to pick which areas of the Windows registry is to be scanned. Picking all areas, by placing ticks in the boxes, will of course provide the most comprehensive of scans. This is another example of how easy to use RegCure is. A Simple click on Start Scan will see RegCure commence its work.  

Within the Settings tab, there are some standard options that allow for RegCure to automatically update itself, as well as the option of RegCure fixing all identified errors without user intervention.Additional options also include an Ignore List (Any errors to be ignored in future scans), and also a Scheduling tool (Future scheduling of automatic scans). 

The Back-Up option generates a back-up of the Windows registry. This creates a restore point so that the registry can be restored in case of any errors that occur during the manual part of a scan and fix. The chances are though that an owner will never need to make use of the restore points. RegCure is the safest registry repair program around.  

The Results screen is comprehensive and shows in this case that there were 1037 errors. The screen also clearly shows where the errors were found and the option to fix the errors. This option is not available if RegCure is set to automatic fix.  

Our Overall Impression

There are good reasons as to why RegCure is the best-selling of all available registry repair programs. The whole program is professional in look and is easy to use; there is no better choice when it comes to a registry cleaner. RegCure will have your compute running like it was brand new.

We have found no evidence to back up the allegations that RegCure is a scam. This claim is based around accusations that RegCure cannot be uninstalled; we managed to uninstall all traces of it from our test machine. Our virus scanning also shows that RegCure is not spyware or any other sort of malware either.

The RegCure software comes with a satisfaction guarantee, which promises a refund of all money within 56 days of purchasing the full version. This is more than fair, although we cannot envisage anyone ever needing to take up the offer.
